About The Position
The Manufacturing Training School is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Assistant II to audit production processes, ensure adherence to quality standards, and provide constructive feedback to assembly staff. The role bridges quality and production, supporting continuous improvement in employees’ skills and the final product. The position involves auditing production lines, documenting findings and records, identifying root causes, and working with the Training School to implement corrective actions and improve operational efficiency. It is on-site in Endicott, New York, with 0% travel. The role requires the ability to obtain no clearance; no U.S. citizenship is required, and relocation is not available.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver feedback constructively.
- Patience and the ability to teach and mentor others effectively.
- Collaboration and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves

- One year of work experience.
- Familiarity with internal software and record-keeping processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, random, and scheduled production-line audits to verify compliance with company and industry standards.
- Provide operators with constructive feedback about workmanship and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Document and maintain accurate records of audit findings, defect rates, and training logs.
- Identify root causes of audit findings and collaborate with the Training School on corrective actions and operational improvements.
