About The Position

Continuum Services is seeking an experienced Engineering & Facilities Manager to lead facility operations across an assigned portfolio of commercial properties. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient building operations while developing strong teams, managing customer relationships, and supporting the financial performance of assigned accounts. This is a leadership-focused position that requires strong technical knowledge of commercial building systems, along with the ability to guide teams, manage priorities, and deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in facility operations, building engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Working knowledge of commercial building systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and customer relationships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and CMMS/work-order systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, CFM/FMP credential, or relevant trade licensure preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience working with union-represented employees is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and facility services across multiple customer locations.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and life-safety systems.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance, work orders, repairs, renovations, and capital projects.
  • Manage operating budgets, vendors, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with customers on maintenance planning, forecasting, and facility needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers and key customer contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service, control costs, and expand customer relationships.
  • Lead, coach, and develop facility and engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, regulatory, licensing, and safety requirements.
  • Support union-represented teams and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
