Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in fabrication (cable/wire harness, SMT board, or military product maintenance)
Prior certification in soldering and harness assembly to MIL STD
Proven ability to fabricate from engineering blueprints and schematics
Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical issue reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fabrication-related software tools
Demonstrated self-starter; performs tasks independently
Safety shoes required

Nice To Haves

J-STD-001, IPC-7711, and IPC-7721 solder certification
Experience acquiring and procuring test materials
Ability to interpret and build to Client Test Equipment engineering

Responsibilities

Place and solder components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies with precision
Fabricate wiring harnesses: pinning, de-pinning, and mounting hardware application
Build single or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production
Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides
Collaborate daily with engineers, fabricators, draftsmen, procurement, and quality inspectors
Communicate process or design issues clearly to management and technical teams
Utilize software tools and Microsoft products for documentation and reporting
Maintain a safe work environment; safety shoes required
Commit to a minimum 40-hour work week with occasional overtime
