About The Position

The Engineer / Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the club's facilities to ensure a like-new appearance and functionality. This role involves a wide range of tasks including mechanical repairs, surface maintenance, pool upkeep, and assisting with event setups. The position requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members and staff.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in general maintenance of commercial buildings and equipment.
Able to work in different environments (wind, rain, sun, hot or cold, cramped or tight spaces).
Able to work up and down ladders or lifts.
Able to perform tasks requiring standing, stooping, sitting, climbing, lifting, and pushing/pulling medium-sized equipment up to 50 lbs.
Able to follow instructions and complete work assignments in a professional and timely manner.
Must have a proactive work ethic and positive attitude.
Must have a high level of respect for everyone.
Must adhere to company dress and grooming policies.
Must properly use personal protection equipment and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Ability to use basic hand tools and some power tools for cutting or drilling various materials.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, and/or replace fans, belts, motors, pumps, and filters.
Maintain the like-new appearance of the building's interior and exterior surfaces (wood, metal, drywall, tile, etc.).
Respond quickly to all work orders as directed by supervisors.
Assist the engineering team with daily repairs.
Assist with event setup of audio visual equipment (monitors, sound mixers, microphones, speakers, power cords).
Maintain swimming pools' water conditions and filtration equipment, including daily water testing and equipment inspections.
Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile, and paint.
