Perform all functions and maintenance as directed by the Chief Engineer. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity and guest experience within the hotel. The engineer will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and safely. Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
One to two years of experience in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
Working knowledge of Housekeeping and the hotel's services, policies and operations.
Ability to communicate information and hotel services to management, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities

Monitor, control, and report on energy conservation programs.
Responsible for all life/safety systems including fire, elevators, disasters, and emergency lighting and generating systems.
Maintain all motors and control circuits.
Arrange for proper trash removal and recycling.
Purchase equipment and supplies.
Maintain pars.
Maintain audio systems within the hotel.
Perform the duties of a Class II or III Engineer as needed.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
