About The Position

The Engineer Wood Manufacturer oversees the cutting of engineered wood and supervises hourly engineered wood manufacturing employees. The role includes interviewing, selecting, and training employees; planning work; maintaining production records; and determining and maintaining the materials and supplies used in production. The position also works with customers to create takeoffs, manages and trains employees on automated saw systems, assesses employee productivity and efficiency, addresses complaints and grievances, and disciplines or recommends discipline when appropriate. The role is responsible for enforcing safety measures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct hourly engineered wood manufacturing employees.
Interview, select, and train engineered wood manufacturing employees.
