About The Position

WSB is seeking an Engineer to join its growing Water Resources team. The role supports public and private infrastructure projects and combines water resources engineering and design with project coordination, business development, client engagement, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The engineer will work on drainage and water resources projects, use current technologies, and contribute to project delivery and client programs. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
4–8 years of experience in water resources engineering.

Experience using water resources modeling programs such as HydroCAD, SWMM, HECRAS, and P8, as well as GIS, Bentley, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on public and private projects, including highway and County State Aid roadway hydraulic design, sustainable water resource planning and design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis, and Best Management Practice (BMP) design to meet permitting standards.
Lead business development activities and pursuits and work with clients to develop projects and programs related to drainage, water resources, and other infrastructure improvements.
Plan, track, and coordinate project activities.
Use technology in engineering designs.
Coordinate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to deliver project results.
