About The Position

This position supports the LNG Engineering & Technical Services group by reviewing designs, developing specifications, and supporting plant electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects. The engineer is expected to have extensive knowledge of plant systems, including electrical switchgear, motor control centers, VFDs, transmitters, PLCs, and DCS systems. In coordination with engineers from related disciplines, the engineer advises on the selection and integration of new equipment and manages projects within their discipline. The role includes reviewing vendor documents, providing comments and markups, and confirming that project requirements comply with applicable codes and standards. Depending on project needs, the engineer also supports submittals, RFIs, schedules, change orders, and on-site construction activities. The position functionally reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer.
