About The Position

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Requirements

High School diploma and 4 years of experience OR Associates degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree or above and 0 years of experience
Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned

Nice To Haves

Prior shipbuilding, Navy, maritime, industrial, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
Familiarity with test procedures, technical documentation, and engineering reports.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
