About The Position

The role involves gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data, including laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. The engineer will produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings such as flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics. Responsibilities also include performing detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas, conducting preliminary analyses of data with provided guidelines (e.g., trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency), and making quantitative judgments concerning technical data. The position requires the use of a personal computer for analyses and the development of documentation/reports. Additionally, the engineer may conduct tests and record data to support engineering evaluation or analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
0 years of relevant professional/exempt experience.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
US Citizenship Required for this Position.

Responsibilities

Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas.
Performs preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency.
Performs quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
