About The Position

The OpEx Engineering Technician provides technical and analytical support to Operational Excellence initiatives, ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of Eaton's Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) and OpA practices. This role supports daily management systems, process standardization, problem-solving activities, and continuous improvement projects that directly impact safety, quality, delivery, cost, and personnel indicators.

Requirements

Graduate of Engineering (Industrial preferably).
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality.
ECIS and Lean Six Sigma tools, MS Office.
Intermediate-advanced English.
Statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of Lean, OpA, ECIS, A3, and DMAIC initiatives in manufacturing and support areas.
Assist in identifying areas of opportunity related to performance, process variability, and waste through data collection and analysis.
Track continuous improvement (CI) action plans to ensure their timely and effective closure.
Participate in Lean Six Sigma initiatives using DMAIC and A3 methodologies.
Support continuous improvement projects focused on waste reduction, variation reduction, and process improvement.
Support the deployment and sustainment of Daily Management systems (Tier 1–Tier 3).
Update and maintain KPIs, visual boards, and performance dashboards.
Verify compliance with standardized work and management routines.
Assist in structured problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and corrective action validation.
Support effectiveness checks to ensure problems do not recur.
Participate in or facilitate improvement workshops and kaizen activities as needed.
Support the development, updating, and control of standardized work, process documentation, and continuous improvement records.
Ensure compliance with OpA, ECIS, and Back to Basics standards.
Support audits and maturity assessments when required.
Support the use and maintenance of OpEx digital tools (e.g., dashboards, CI tracking systems, and visual management platforms).
Prepare basic reports and summaries to support OpEx reviews and periodic team meetings.
Comply with all Eaton Safety, Health, and Environment (EHS), Quality, and regulatory requirements.
Actively promote a safety-first culture and report unsafe conditions or behaviors.
Ensure continuous improvement activities integrate safety, quality, and compliance considerations.
Stop work and escalate concerns when safety or quality risks are identified.
