Responsible for coordinating with supervisors relating to the maintenance and repair of physical systems of buildings, equipment, and preventative maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. Tech 2 should possess reasonable experience in general maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and painting. Perform, Public Area, and Guest Room preventative maintenance per standards and schedules. Troubleshoot all operational problems including, but not limited to, equipment and building trades. Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner in order to resolve guest and staff difficulties. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
