About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for an Engineer Systems. We are looking for you to join our team as an Engineer Systems based out of Orlando, FL. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field and 2 years of related technical experience; Master’s degree and 0 years of related technical experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements analysis, development and management
  • Proficiency with at least one of: Requirements management tool Rational DOORS or Cameo architecture development tool
  • Ability collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and other stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with both DOORS and Cameo
  • Demonstrated MBSE Experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for systems and processes
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of software development methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
  • Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
