Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Engineer Supplier Mission Assurance – Level 2 to join our team in Baltimore, MD This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Collaborates with program management, engineering, subcontracts/procurement functional management and supplier management teams to ensure that all procurements meet or exceed the requirements of external and internal customers. Defines the Supplier MA program within the scope of contract requirements and NGMS policies and processes. Coordinates and oversees Supplier Mission Assurance implementation over all program phases. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• Familiarity with customer and internal requirements implementation and flow-down
• Interdepartmental collaboration and communication skills
• Process improvement projects
• Experience developing and working to an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
• Strong technical writing skills

Nice To Haves

• An Active US DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience working in the Aerospace industry
• Extensive experience with RCCA analysis, investigation, and implementation
• Experience generating QMS command media
• Team leadership experience
• Enthusiasm to mentor/train new hires

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
• Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Assess program performance and risks and determine resources to ensure mission assurance.
• Other duties as assigned
