Engineer, Software Development
About The Position
We are seeking a Full-Stack web developer with 5 + years of experience to join our team. Preferably with experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js. Qualified candidates will be expected to have a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript and a basic understanding of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design. Proven experience turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. This role will also be responsible for implementing new features to current in-house websites, handling plug-in integration with 3rd party systems along with API development and routine maintenance and performance optimizations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a corporate development environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing modern, responsive, websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue
- Experience writing C# code for middle tier business logic
- Experience writing SQL commands, data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, and experience using Git Source Control.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration and automated Deployments.
- Experience with Cloud and Software-as-a-Service paradigm and enabling technologies
- Ability to articulate technical concepts and considerations to audiences from developers to executives
- Complete understanding of the software development life cycle, and experience developing to timelines
- Excellent analytical and procedural thinking skills
- Quick to embrace new technologies and able to self-teach
- Angular Framework 12 or higher, HTML, CSS, Modern JavaScript and Type Script, React, and/or Bootstrap 5
- Microsoft .NET C# experience
- API Development , SOAP/REST and HTTP
- Database skills including SQL, data modeling, and databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB )
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js
