About The Position
Responsible for the operation of all nuclear power-generating equipment, including the nuclear reactor(s), refueling equipment, reactor plant support operations such as fuel handling, radioactive waste disposal, electrical breaker connections to the systems, main turbines, generators, and associated auxiliary equipment. Prepares and reviews engineering plans, analyses, and investigations, monitors reactor plant testing, investigates and resolves testing problems. This position will fill the role of the 1 plant Alternate Assistant Chief Test Engineer for the CVN 74 RCOH.
Requirements
- Shift Test Engineer (STE) or Inactivation Test Engineer (ITE) Certification
- 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience
- STE qualification
- US Citizenship Required
- Final Clearance Required to Start
Nice To Haves
- A4W STE qualification
- STS experience
- Some AACTE/ACTE experience
