Breaking Ground is an organization dedicated to providing housing and services to people experiencing homelessness in New York City, upstate New York, and Connecticut. The Center for Urban Community Services provides onsite social services, while Breaking Ground manages property services. The Engineer position is part of the property management department, responsible for maintaining common areas and apartments in residential buildings, including offices, multi-purpose rooms, roof deck, garden, trash collection area, lobby, fitness room, and sidewalks. The role involves basic plumbing, woodworking, and electrical work.
