About The Position

Tatham Engineering is seeking to fill new roles of an Engineer, Project Manager for their Municipal group in their Barrie, Collingwood, Guelph and Ottawa offices. This position is responsible for the planning, design and approval of municipal infrastructure projects including storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater management systems and infrastructure, watermains, grading, roads and parking lots, preparation of the associated tender and construction contract documents and provision of construction inspection and contract administration required. The Engineer, Project Manager is also responsible for providing technical direction and assisting the Group Leader and Branch Manager with business development, and mentoring junior staff. The variety of work provides challenges for the Engineer, Project Manager to advance their skills and practical experience in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario
  • Minimum of 5 years of municipal engineering experience
  • Excellent municipal design and project management skills
  • Experience completing Municipal Class EA Planning process
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
  • Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, responsible for mentoring and coordinating a team of support staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
