About The Position

This role involves applying engineering principles and procedures to the design and implementation of assigned engineering projects. The responsibilities include the design, installation, and start-up of projects. Project implementation will require the direct supervision of Mill trades personnel and/or contractors. The role also involves conducting data analysis projects and using data to make business decisions. Assignments may include some work at higher levels for training and development purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET) required.
  • 0-3 years of prior work experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Auto Cad, and Project.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints.
  • Must be able to multi-task and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Must be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving.
  • Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change.

Nice To Haves

  • Pulp & paper industry experience preferred.
