Engineer Principal in Charge
About The Position
As a consultant, you will serve as the executive sponsor and senior technical authority for a large public utility advisory program, providing strategic oversight, executive guidance, and quality assurance across complex infrastructure initiatives. Your leadership will help shape critical decisions, strengthen executive relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact utility programs. In this role, your expertise and credibility will support both client trust and long-term infrastructure planning. This is a high-visibility opportunity to provide executive-level leadership on transformational utility work. This opportunity is contingent upon our client being awarded the contract.
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- 20+ years of utility, infrastructure, or engineering leadership experience
- Executive-level utility advisory or operational leadership background
- Experience briefing utility executives, boards, and senior stakeholders
- Strong technical oversight and quality assurance capabilities
Nice To Haves
- California utility experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
