Requirements

  • MS in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • Hands-on experience designing, querying, and optimizing relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) in production environments with SQL and Python required.
  • Proven ability to plan, drive, and complete projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Science including scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of relevant experience through semiconductor internship or equivalent, leading decision-support, workflow automation, or data engineering initiatives in complex environment.
  • Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex analysis succinctly.
  • Experience building and deploying end‑to‑end ML systems, or strong interest in developing production-grade ML automation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize Fab processes and eliminate inefficiencies, with a focus on automated production movement systems.
  • Collaborate with Fab Operations, IT, and cross‑functional Operations Improvement teams (Automation, Scheduling, Applications) to deliver scalable, high‑impact automation solutions
  • Define and deliver a decision‑support and workflow automation framework that blends human expertise with analytics and AI/ML.
  • Partner with management to deliver data analysis, advanced production web reports, and applications that improve production metrics.
  • Build and lead automation projects that eliminate manual operations tasks, reducing effort, shortening cycle time, accelerating root‑cause analysis, and improving decision quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations and report any safety-related concerns immediately.
