About The Position

This early-career role is part of Blue Origin’s Engines business unit, which designs, develops, manufactures, and tests engines and propulsion systems. The position supports liquid rocket engines and may specialize in areas such as special processes, welding and joining, additive manufacturing, metallurgy, casting, or forging. The work directly affects rocket engine hardware design and manufacturability, with the goal of helping lower the cost of access to space. The engineer develops and qualifies materials and processes, collaborates with design, manufacturing, and process engineers, and supports manufacturing from development through production. The role also involves evaluating materials and processes, qualifying repairs, maintaining process controls and quality assurance measures, and supporting day-to-day manufacturing. Blue Origin describes its culture as focused on safety, collaboration, and inclusion, and its broader mission as developing reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems for the benefit of Earth.
