General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. The ME Propulsion Systems Adelanto department is seeking to fill the role of Propulsion Engineering Supervisor to support propulsion engineering challenges within a fast-paced Research & Development environment. The position is responsible for providing technical directions to design and engineering staff and will lead a team of moderately experienced engineering professionals to resolve unusual or complex propulsion-related engineering problems. Project assignments are defined by high-level requirements and schedules that vary based on customer and program needs. Performance is primarily evaluated through key design milestones, including System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Test Readiness Review (TRR). The role is responsible for initiating engineering project planning, developing innovative designs and design modifications to achieve complex technical objectives, and ensuring successful execution of engineering efforts. Responsibilities also include documenting technical findings, communicating results to engineering teams, delivering technical presentations, and serving as the primary technical representative on contracts and single-component projects.
