About The Position
Quality Engineering & Surveying (QES) is seeking a motivated Land Development Engineer Intern (E.I.) to join our growing team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on commercial, residential, municipal, and industrial development projects across Louisiana. You'll gain hands-on experience in site design, grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, and project delivery while building the foundation for your Professional Engineer license.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT Certification
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow professionally
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Responsibilities
- Assist with site development design and drafting
- Prepare engineering calculations and reports
- Support permitting and agency coordination
- Participate in field visits and project meetings
- Work with Civil 3D and industry-leading design software
