About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking an Engineer-Information Services II to join its Information Services organization. The role fulfills customer requirements through the design, build, test, troubleshooting, and documentation of enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools, and platforms. It evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled. The position also provides support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming and scripting.

Candidates must live and work in Central or Northern Indiana. The position is hybrid and located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It reports to the Director-Information Services and has no direct reports.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience working with hypervisors and scripting.
• Experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.
• Must live and work in Central or Northern Indiana.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare, health insurance, and health provider experience and understanding of processes.
• Cloud experience.
