Engineer-In-Training assists with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and Utility Coordination efforts for various types of projects by supporting utility investigations, reviewing design plans, analyzing field data, and helping deliver accurate existing utility information for design and construction projects. Under the direction of an Engineer, helps coordinate field efforts, utility conflict analysis, and utility mapping in accordance with ASCE 38-22 Standards. Requires successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE). Work requires working closely with SUE field teams, utility owners, engineers, and project managers to verify utility location and depths, reduce risk during design, and support utility relocation planning.
