This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated candidate with a background in environmental engineering, sciences, or a related discipline who is interested in supporting both water and air compliance projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. The role involves supporting a broad mix of water and air-related environmental consulting assignments across Ontario and other jurisdictions. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Engineers, you will help clients understand and meet regulatory requirements related to water, wastewater, stormwater, air emissions, noise, dust, odour, ventilation, and environmental reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop technical expertise, gain field experience, and build a career in environmental consulting while contributing to both water and air-focused projects. The successful candidate will assist the Water Services and Air Services teams with field investigations, sampling and monitoring programs, data review, preliminary calculations, technical reporting, permitting support, and design support. Typical assignments may include water and wastewater sampling, stormwater and process water assessments, water treatment design support, air emissions data collection, air modelling assistance, noise and vibration monitoring, ventilation-related field reviews, and preparation of technical memoranda and compliance reports. The position is well suited to an Engineer-in-Training or junior technologist who enjoys a mix of field and office work, has strong attention to detail, and wants to build a broad technical foundation in environmental consulting.
