By joining our Modal Programs Branch as an Engineer-In-Training I in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to work with Forecasting and Modeling Team, gain experience in managing consultants, and assist district personnel across the State of Kentucky.
Requirements
- Experience with the transportation planning process.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Working as part of a team.
- Experience managing multiple tasks.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Certification as an Engineer-In-Training recognized by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct travel demand forecasts.
- Gain expertise in working with travel Demand Models.
- Review and oversee the work and payment of consultants.
- Research and test forecasting and modeling tools.
