About The Position

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for its Denver office. This role offers the chance to work on diverse project types utilizing various structural materials, gaining experience in both new building design and existing building investigations/retrofits. Responsibilities include engineering calculations, drawing development, construction administration, and site visits. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Construction, Structural, or related engineering field
Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to work in the Denver area.
Has passed FE Examination

Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering field
Knowledge of building and material design codes

Experience using Autodesk Revit to produce building construction documents
Experience analyzing structures using RAM, SAP, ETABS, or RISA

Responsibilities

Knowledge and use of computer design and CAD/BIM software
Prepares details and calculations for project components and systems
Learns about products and construction procedures
Prepares and writes reports
Provides field observation during construction
Studies and applies building code and/or jurisdictional requirements
Reviews shop drawings and product submittals
Checks own work
Coordinates work with other disciplines
Acts proactively and proposes potential solutions to problems
Works overtime, when necessary
Other duties as assigned
