About The Position

Develop innovative network engineering solutions within defined standards and architectures, ensuring designs integrate seamlessly into broader systems. Specify, configure, implement, and maintain plant-level process networking hardware, including build instructions and detailed low-level diagrams to support network engineering designs and assist operations teams during implementation. Implement and manage robust network security, including diagnosing issues and maintaining network health. Design, enhance, and manage MDF and IDF closets including cabling, racking, and power systems in collaboration with GT. Coordinate with third party vendors and perform capacity planning and lifecycle management to maintain reliable hardware, firmware, and software service. Serve as an escalation point for OT network engineering, working closely with GT and PA leads to support operations teams and assist in incident resolution. Provide on-site support at ADM plants for emergency repairs, planned installations, and limited end-user support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Engineering (any), Business, or a related technical field, and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Process automation systems, including Rockwell, Emerson DeltaV, or Valmet (Novatech) D/3
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Manufacturing environments
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Supporting enterprise-level technology operations and services, including managing the lifecycle, maintenance, and upgrades of network technologies
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Switch programming and command execution
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Network architecture design and development, both physical and virtual
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: OT network communication protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850, OPC, OPC UA, and PROFINET
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Plant operations and 24/7 operational requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience with/in: Serving as a technology generalist with a high-level understanding of end-to-end solutions, including infrastructure, applications, databases, networking, and security.
