The Lead Controls Engineer, Operational Technology will provide expert knowledge, guidance, and leadership in the design, implementation, and support of complex distributed control systems, manufacturing and packaging automation systems, and environmental monitoring systems within a regulated, validated environment. This role involves leading the Operational Technology Automation team, participating in and leading projects as a subject matter expert, and providing expert support for various automation systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs, HMIs, and field devices under strict change control, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting network, database, and code troubleshooting. The role also requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, information technology, and validation teams, as well as reviewing automation system specifications and ensuring adherence to GAMP/cGxP procedures.
