About The Position

As a Engineer III – Electro-mechanical, you’ll be part of our Power Tools Engineering team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to design and develop innovative, reliable, and safe electro-mechanical systems and motor controls using 3D modeling and detailed drawings, managing BOMs and documentation in PLM systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, "Critical to Quality" attributes, and ensure robust product development. You will release comprehensive product specifications, RFQ packets, and costed BOMs; partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and timely delivery. You will contribute to the development of electro-mechanical modules for power electronics and power tool applications supporting both high-mix and low-volume production. You will conduct tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA, PFMEA, process control plans, and release engineering changes to support robust product development. You will perform engineering analyses (structural, thermal, airflow, FEA), design validation, and advanced testing to optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. You will drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement for manufacturing, assembly, and product performance issues. You will support manufacturing and DFM initiatives, ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards, and support regulatory documentation and reporting. You will support multiple projects, meeting schedule, cost, and quality objectives, and provide regular status updates to management.
