About The Position

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries. This position supports day-to-day project operations by assisting the project team in executing daily operations, ensuring alignment with the operations strategy and maintaining process rigor for customer integrated customer solutions. The role requires strong planning skills to organize tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects. It also involves utilizing influencing skills to foster collaboration and drive cross-functional teamwork across various departments. The engineer will develop and streamline project organization processes in collaboration with other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation, and manage/build/maintain project organization DT tools, most built on the Microsoft 365 platform, as well as build reports from these tools with analysis.

Requirements

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel, Access and MS Access); specific skills include: data mining, pivot tables, data manipulation.
• Build and maintain SharePoint sites.
• Knowledgeable in Salesforce.com platform.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proven capability to work well in a matrix environment.
• Clear thinker with an ability to focus on the “critical few” issue/priorities with ability to translate strategy into business objectives.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering in Gas based thermal power plants.

Responsibilities

• Actively support project organization continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead efforts in process harmonization across customer business units to ensure consistency and streamlined operations.
• Work closely with cross-business functional teams including engineering, sales, product champions, finance, supply chain, and project management.
• Develop and streamline project organization processes in collaboration with these teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
