About The Position

Collins Aerospace is currently in search of an Electrical Engineer II to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). This role will report to the Largo Test Engineering Manager. The position involves integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules, as well as the transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE). The engineer will work as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements, develop solutions to test issues, and implement productivity & efficiency enhancements. Collaboration with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Reliability personnel is expected. Oversight of test equipment used for production purposes is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience and ability to work with, troubleshoot complex Subsystems.
  • Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.
