About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic Technology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and server management, with an understanding of both physical and virtual environments. This role involves managing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure to support the company's operational needs. It takes a passion for technology to develop and iterate on innovative solutions to problems. You will partner with Engineers, Architects and Leaders in product and technology to influence the direction for the organization as we establish the patterns, guidance and design for building and deploying cloud and on-prem infrastructure to support our customer facing applications. You will be a technical mentor to other Engineers and serve as an expert in supporting multiple areas of the Business. You should have strong communications skills, a deep technical understanding of how the cloud platform can contribute to the overall success of our application development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Technology field or equivalent experience
2+ years of work experience
Experience in Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat.
Basic experience with Ansible and Git.
Familiarity with Red Hat Satellite or similar lifecycle management platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
