Requirements

  • Engineer Sr: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Engineer III: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Engineer II: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Demonstrates ability to work on engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer Sr: Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification
  • Preferred: PE Certification
  • Preferred: Project Management experience
  • Preferred: Experience with WellView, RCP TaskOp, and Storage IMP

Responsibilities

  • Performs advanced technical work and leads projects of significant scope and complexity
  • Develops, implements, and applies technical standards, specifications, and best practices
  • Interprets technical and business requirements and partners with leaders to drive successful outcomes
  • Provides technical leadership, problem-solving, and innovative solutions to improve gas storage operations
  • Leads analysis and optimization of underground gas storage facilities to enhance capacity, deliverability, and peak performance
  • Evaluates gas storage well performance and defines stimulation or workover strategies to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Monitors reservoir and facility conditions through inventory verification and performance studies
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for the Storage Integrity Management Program (SIMP) in compliance with 49 CFR Part 192
  • Supports PHMSA inspections, internal audits, and regulatory reporting to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Develops and refines inspection processes, methodologies, and contractor training to strengthen safety and compliance
  • Defines project scopes, manages resource needs, and maintains accurate project records in company systems
  • Maintains critical UNGS databases, including WellView and Annular Pressure Monitoring, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Other duties as assigned
