Engineer I - Quality & Assurance

Bellese
$88,200 - $109,600Remote

About The Position

Bellese is a mission-driven Digital Services Company committed to pioneering innovative technology solutions in civic healthcare. Our dedication lies in making a meaningful impact on public health outcomes. Driven by service design, we strive to know the “Why†to understand the healthcare journey for patients, caregivers, providers, payers, and policymakers. Our goal is to design and build solutions that reduce confusion, provide clarity, support decision making, and streamline the process so that we and our partners can focus on providing better health outcomes by improving patient care and reducing costs and burden. The Team you will be joining: The CMS MADiE 2.0 (Measure Authoring and Development Integrated Environment) project is a high-impact initiative within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). It focuses on modernizing how healthcare quality is measured and reported across the United States. MADiE is a web-based, self-contained application that integrates the authoring and testing of digital clinical quality measures (dCQMs) into a single workflow. It is a cornerstone of the Meaningful Measures 2.0 initiative, aimed at reducing provider burden and accelerating the transition to a fully digital health ecosystem. You will work with modern digital health technologies (APIs, FHIR, and cloud-native architectures) to solve complex data management challenges. The Mission: Modernize the "Meaningful Measures" ecosystem by consolidating legacy tools into a single, cloud-native workflow. The Tech Frontier: We are leading the transition to FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and CQL (Clinical Quality Language) to make healthcare data more portable and actionable. The Impact: Your work directly affects the clinical logic used to evaluate care for millions of patients under Medicare and Medicaid.
