The FPGA BU is seeking a talented, passionate, and creative Product Engineering Technical Program Manager to join its new product development team, supporting the pre-production rollout of new products. This cross-functional role involves interaction with Test Engineering, Package Engineering, Yield Enhancement, Engineering Planners, Qualification Engineers, Quality, Marketing, and Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 0 - 1+ years of experience working in Product engineering, product planning or program management
  • Hands-on experience with data management tools and languages like KLA and JMP
  • Knowledge of solid-state physics and microelectronics is required
  • Skilled with scripting languages like TCL/PERL/Python, C and C++ , and Visual Basic
  • Team player

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate early builds for engineering in support of validation
  • Manage inventory and coordinate Early Sample (ES) and pre-production (PP) builds in support of family rollout, stocking plans, and pre-production forecast
  • Monitor package test yields through statistical analysis
  • Work on enhancements to meet test goal targets
  • Manage production holds to enable customer shipments and revenue
  • Develop scripts to monitor yields, track builds and identify bottlenecks
  • Report status to rollout team
