Microchip FPGA BU is looking for a talented, passionate, and creative Product Engineering Technical Program Manager to join their new product development team. The candidate will support the pre-production rollout of new products, interacting with various teams including Test Engineering, Package Engineering, Yield Enhancement, Engineering Planners, Qualification Engineers, Quality, Marketing, and Operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
0 - 1+ years of experience working in Product engineering, product planning or program management
Hands-on experience with data management tools and languages like KLA and JMP
Knowledge of solid-state physics and microelectronics is required
Skilled with scripting languages like TCL/PERL/Python, C and C++ , and Visual Basic
Team player

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate early builds for engineering in support of validation
Manage inventory and coordinate Early Sample (ES) and pre-production (PP) builds in support of family rollout, stocking plans, and pre-production forecast
Monitor package test yields through statistical analysis
Work on enhancements to meet test goal targets
Manage production holds to enable customer shipments and revenue
Develop scripts to monitor yields, track builds and identify bottlenecks
Report status to rollout team
