The Engineer I – Process will plan and execute technical projects for continuous improvement, analyze and integrate project results, and design, coordinate, and perform experiments to develop new processes and enhance manufacturing techniques. The role involves leading team activities to reduce variation in critical processes, facilitating problem-solving sessions, and applying planning and problem-solving tools. Additionally, the engineer will provide training and technical direction, establish and document equipment and process operating specifications, develop Out of Control Action Plans, and solve complex process integration problems. Regular communication with management and cross-functional groups is expected, along with preparing and presenting reports on project status and experimental results. Collaboration with other technical groups to exchange information and stay current with industry developments is also a key aspect of the role. Engagement with the Microchip Learning Center is required to understand process flows, company culture, and expectations.
