About The Position

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineering Graduate to join their Information Communication Technology (ICT) Group. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a graduation date of Winter 2025, Spring or Summer of 2026
  • Knowledge in the latest version of MEP Auto CAD
  • Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite
  • Eager to learn and expand knowledge and hands-on experience by challenging themselves and using highly technical resources.
  • Enjoy a team environment and be flexible enough to work independently where needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous engineering internship
  • REVIT experience

Responsibilities

  • Enroll in the firmwide EDT program.
  • Attend continuing education seminars on technical or professional enhancing topics.
  • Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and coordinating new work.
  • Assist Senior team members in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team.
  • Create basic designs under the direction of senior team members, performing CAD/BIM drafting, equipment selections, systems calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes.
  • Begin to be cross trained in multidisciplinary designs and supporting design production of drawings, calculations, research, reports, analysis, and specification.
  • Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement and system upgrades for a wide variety of projects and project types.
  • Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
