About The Position

As a key member of the GSC Manufacturing Systems team, this role delivers high-impact technical leadership in manufacturing execution, automation, and control systems to facilities worldwide. Reporting directly to the Director, GSC Manufacturing Systems, you will partner with key regional and global stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge digital manufacturing solutions. By training local plant teams and championing system adoption, you will directly drive operational efficiency and global manufacturing consistency. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related Information Technology field.
  • Demonstrated technical troubleshooting capabilities supporting plant systems in a customer-facing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Automation, or IT Supply Chain roles.
  • Proven technical proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), ideally utilizing Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong expertise configuring, testing, and developing manufacturing software, including ISA-88 Batching software, HMI development and MES.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with AVEVA (Wonderware) product suites and SAP MII software.
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial instrumentation.
  • Functional understanding of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, SQL Reporting Services) and core SAP transaction workflows.
  • Demonstrated alignment with Leadership principles, showing strong adaptability and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced digital manufacturing processes and systems to drive plant efficiency globally.
  • Provide technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting, and advisory support for globally deployed manufacturing systems.
  • Enforce and maintain global standards to ensure consistency across manufacturing execution and system integrations.
  • Cultivate collaborative partnerships with local and Regional Plant Systems, Global Engineering, IT, and Quality teams.
  • Evaluate, adopt, and integrate emerging digital technologies to continuously optimize manufacturing workflows.
  • Develop comprehensive technical specifications, training documentation, and standard operating procedures for manufacturing systems.
