About The Position

Addx is seeking an Engineer in support of the COMSEC Products Section (AFLCMC/HNCCS) in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing engineering services to support Tactical Terminal Systems deployed worldwide. Duties may include independently performing project assignments with complex features, guided by codes, standards, and precedents. The engineer will serve as a technical advisor for evaluating and testing products, including software, equipment, and systems essential to COMSEC Products support. Responsibilities also include establishing procedures and instructions for end users based on government standards, ascertaining product reliability, life cycles, and compatibility, and responding to customer and program office problem reports. Technical advice and assistance will be provided for system diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, operations, installs, integration, and testing. Moderate travel is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in professional engineering from a curriculum in a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineer curriculum.
• Current, active security clearance eligible for SCI access.
• Must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Technical Orders, Test Procedures, Engineering Change Proposals, Justifications and Approvals, and Technical Evaluations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to support Tactical Terminal Systems deployed worldwide.

• Serve as engineering technical adviser on evaluating and testing products to include software, equipment, and systems essential to COMSEC Products support.

• Respond to problem reports submitted by customers and program office.
• Provide technical advice and assistance with system diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, system operations, installs, integration and testing.
