About The Position

Applies electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. The candidate will conduct research and assist with the development of components and software required for the modernization of a monitoring and control system aboard the FORD class ships. The applicant should be detail oriented, has a history of delivering high-quality products, technical acumen, an experienced technical writer, analytical and is capable of concisely communicating information to stakeholders. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects, facilitating meetings, takes ownership of assigned tasking, innovative, and fosters a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program and 5 years of relevant exempt experience
  • Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ph.D. and 0 years of experience
  • Detail oriented
