About The Position

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. The candidate will conduct research and assist with the development of components and software required for the modernization of a monitoring and control system aboard the FORD class ships. The applicant should be detail oriented, has a history of delivering high-quality products, technical acumen, an experienced technical writer, analytical and is capable of concisely communicating information to stakeholders. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects, facilitating meetings, takes ownership of assigned tasking, innovative, fosters a positive work environment, and provides project status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience
Ph.D. and 4 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
