About The Position
The Engineer Electrical 2 researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. The role also designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This position is with Newport News Shipbuilding and is not eligible for telework. It requires U.S. citizenship and involves travel 10%–25% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience, or a master’s degree and 0 years of relevant professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
