About The Position
The Engineer Electrical 2 researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. The role also designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This position is with Newport News Shipbuilding’s Commodity Engineering team and is not eligible for telework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience, or a master’s degree and 0 years of relevant professional experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required by Newport News Shipbuilding.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and components.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or I2 (NNS Parts Catalog).
