About The Position

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This position will support facilities projects and engineering team in either the plant engineering, project engineering, or crane engineering team. Skills that will be developed as part of this position are: knowledge of applicable regulations, codes and standards; the ability to design, evaluate, maintain and troubleshoot power and industrial control systems; and skills that support execution of projects such as planning and implementation. These projects support facilities engineering in power infrastructure and controls, building control systems and industrial equipment control systems. The candidate shall have basic electrical knowledge and be capable of solving problems in an organized manner. Basic MS Office suit and AutoCAD skills are required (Word and Excel) as well as the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, peers and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 0 years of relevant exempt experience.
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Basic MS Office suit and AutoCAD skills are required (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, peers and customers.
