About The Position
Performs maintenance and repairs on life support and general medical equipment. Controls maintenance costs. Insures patient and staff safety.
Requirements
- AA or AS degree in Biomedical Instrumentation or Electronics, or equivalent experience
- 8 years of biomedical equipment maintenance experience, with 3 years of in hospital experience
- Current ABM/MAB/CPI certificate within (90 days upon hire) annual thereafter
- Possess extensive knowledge and able to perform equipment maintenance and repairs, on medical equipment
- Capable of working unsupervised and can take ownership of tasks and projects
- Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language
