About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign on bonus. The Biomed Tech maintains, operates, tests, inspects, performs preventative maintenance, and repairs medical and non-medical equipment. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 2 years in Biomedical Electronics repair shop.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Biomedical Electronics or Certificate of training from a Technical School in Biomedical Electronics

Responsibilities

• Maintains, operates, tests, inspects, performs preventative maintenance and repairs all types of medical electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam equipment.
• Operates patient safety equipment and understands recorded data.
• Maintains equipment records and files on all equipment.
• Processes all equipment repairs and PM check on all equipment.
• Answers, transfers, picks up and responds to incoming telephone and electronic mail work request calls.
• Makes out purchase orders and restocks parts.
• Completes errands as directed.
• Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively.
• Maintains safe environment.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
